Terms of service

These Terms of Service apply to your use of stok3d.nl and to purchases made from STOK3D. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under Dutch or European Union law.
1. About STOK3D
STOK3D is based at Tulpenburgh 41C, 1567 CT Assendelft, the Netherlands. You can contact us at info@stok3d.nl.
2. Products and product information
We aim to describe and display every product as accurately as possible, including its intended use, dimensions, materials, compatibility, colour options and included parts.
Many STOK3D products are produced in small batches. Minor differences in colour, surface texture or visible production lines can occur and are not necessarily defects. These differences do not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, unsafe or does not match its description.
Product images may look slightly different depending on lighting, photography and your screen settings.
3. Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and are processed through Shopify and the selected payment provider. Your order must be paid in full before it is dispatched.
4. Orders
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address you provided. Please check the products, variants, measurements and shipping address carefully.
We may contact you if information is missing, if a custom measurement needs clarification or if a product is unexpectedly unavailable. If we cannot fulfil an order, we may cancel it and refund the amount paid.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of an obvious pricing or product-information error, suspected fraud, misuse of the website or another legitimate reason. If payment has already been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
5. Custom-made products
Some products can be made to measurements or specifications supplied by you. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate measurements and for checking any specification we ask you to confirm.
Products made to your personal measurements or specifications, including custom-sized FlexClamps, cannot normally be returned because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty, damaged, does not match the agreed measurements or specifications, or if STOK3D has made an error.
6. Shipping and delivery
STOK3D currently ships to the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium using PostNL. In-stock products are normally dispatched within 2–3 business days.
Shipping costs and available delivery options are shown at checkout. Shipping within the Netherlands is free for orders of €20 or more. Delivery times after dispatch depend on PostNL and the destination and are not guaranteed.

7. Returns, withdrawal and refunds
STOK3D offers a 30-day return period for standard, non-custom products. This additional return period does not limit any statutory right of withdrawal or other mandatory consumer right.
For a normal return or change of mind, return shipping costs are paid by the customer. If a product is faulty, damaged during delivery, incorrect or affected by an error made by STOK3D, contact us before returning it so we can arrange an appropriate solution.

8. Product conformity and complaints
You are entitled to receive a product that matches its description and is suitable for the purpose for which products of that type are normally used. Your statutory rights regarding faulty or non-conforming products remain fully applicable.
Inspect your order after delivery. If a product is damaged, incorrect, faulty or does not match what was agreed, contact us at info@stok3d.nl with your order number and, where relevant, clear photographs.
We will assess the issue and offer an appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
9. Installation, compatibility and safe use
Read the product description and any supplied installation, compatibility and safety information before use. Check that the product, fixings, measurements and intended mounting point are suitable for your equipment and situation.
Inspect mounts, straps, screws and other safety-relevant parts before each use where applicable. Do not use a product if it is damaged, does not fit correctly, becomes loose or interferes with the safe operation of your equipment.
Product-specific warnings and manufacturer instructions for your board, kite, camera, AirTag or other equipment must also be followed.
10. Liability
STOK3D is responsible for loss or damage where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any mandatory consumer right.
To the extent permitted by law, STOK3D is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the purchase agreement was made.
We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, unsuitable third-party equipment, improper installation, use contrary to instructions or continued use after a product becomes damaged or loose. This does not limit your rights where the STOK3D product itself is faulty or does not conform to the agreement.
11. Intellectual property
The STOK3D name, product names, product designs, photographs, graphics, videos and written content on this website are owned by or licensed to STOK3D unless stated otherwise.
You may not reproduce, publish, sell, commercially exploit or create commercial copies of this content or our product designs without prior written permission, except where applicable law allows it.
12. Website use and third-party services
You may not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, upload malicious code, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
The store is hosted by Shopify. Payments, chat, reviews, shipping and other functions may be provided by third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply when you use those services.
13. Privacy
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. The policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, which service providers may receive it and what rights you have.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our products, services, legal obligations or business processes change. The version published on the website at the time of your order applies to that order, unless a change is required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms and purchase agreements with STOK3D are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also retain the protection of any mandatory consumer-law provisions that apply in your country of residence.
If you have a complaint, contact us first so we can try to resolve it together. If no solution can be reached, disputes may be submitted to the competent court in accordance with applicable law. This clause does not restrict any mandatory right to bring a claim before another competent court.
